White Burgundy - 2006

Overall quality of the vintage: good but uneven. The more mature it becomes, the more pronounced its exotic notes become. After a fine start to summer, August was a gloomy month. Fortunately, a fine month of September was to make up for the slow ripening of the grapes. The harvest is mixed, requiring some sorting on the Côte de Nuit. Overall, 2006 is a fine vintage, full-bodied and elegant in red and with a lovely acidity on the whites.
