Harvest status: Date: 20 September.
Abundance: poor.
Quality: medium.
Overall quality of the vintage: very good, the harvest produced wines with great ageing potential.
White Burgundy - 2016
Overall quality of the vintage: a good year. Late ripening explains the remarkable freshness. In freezing cold with episodes of frost in spring, the vines had difficulty getting started in Burgundy. June was to prove milder and allowed the vine to resume its cycle. This vintage is marked by a record low harvest. Nevertheless, very late harvests (end of September beginning of October) ensured high quality.
