White Bordeaux - 1936

Syrupy Bordeaux - 1936

Harvest status: Dates: October 2nd.

Overall quality of the vintage: fairly good, but uneven. A lot of mediocre wines.

Champagne - 1936

A vintage year for Deutz and Mailly, but most wines, few in number and acidic, used for blending.

Red and White Rhone Valley - 1936

Unfortunately, the worst decade of the century.

White Alsace - 1936

The weather is so bad, all the newspapers can talk of nothing else: in the region, "none of the old winegrower can remember such a difficult harvest. Once again, growers had to work in harsh conditions to bring in the harvest as quickly as possible, regardless of cold hands and sniffles."

Loire Wine - 1936
