SAINT-ESTEPHE

The northernmost of the Médoc appellations, Saint-Estèphe produces distinctive wines, robust and often spicy. Great chateaux, such as the Clos d'Estournel, Montrose or Calon Ségur, have made the appellation famous with wines that rival one another for their great quality.
