Meteorological data: no sun. Incessant rain from June till August. On September 8th, a storm flooded the vineyards. Sunshine in mid-October.

Quality: diluted.

Overall quality of the vintage: poor. Heavily chaptalized wines. To be avoided.

Quality: unripe, the grapes are water-logged and rotted.

In spite of an intermittent rain at the beginning of August, the vintage turned out to be acceptable, in both quantity in quality.

The same conditions as everywhere else only more so did not prevent the production of some good quality Vouvrays.
