MEDOC

Between the Gironde estuary and the Atlantic Ocean, the Médoc vineyards resemble a peninsula. This was the last Bordeaux land to be planted and in just a few centuries it has become the most prestigious of the Bordeaux vineyards. The term Médoc covers all the Médoc vineyards but the crus bearing the appellation all fall within the Haut-Médoc.
