Saint-Julien includes 11 crus classés, which account for over three quarters of the appellation. Ducru-Beaucaillou, Léoville Barton and Léoville Las Cases are the most prestigious and have nothing to fear from comparison with the premiers crus. The finest vintages of these wines are concentrated, intense and with a good length.
